Tom is our Head of Under 8 Development Coach at Elly Shearman Tennis Coaching.
Tom works with our Red Ball and Under 8 tennis courses as well as outreach work with schools to share his love & passion for tennis with the children in Bristol. Tom joined Elly’s coaching team in April 2014. This month Tom has shared 5 things you probably didn’t know about him.
1. He joined his first tennis club when he was 13
2. He is a DJ in his spare time, weirdly his middle name initials are DJ as well (David John)
3. He has two brothers who have played football for Southampton as juniors, but have never played tennis seriously
4. His sports before tennis were football and golf
5. He used to work in a bakery 🙂
