Winter League Team of the Season & Most Improved Player throughout the winter season
We have two awards this month for three thoroughly deserved young tennis players.
Winter League Team of the Season
We wanted to give Anya Ahern & Emma Fitzgerald an award for playing through some ridiculous weather and with one match to go, they have won all their Div 1 winter league matches for U10A.
They have played through pouring rain multiple times as well as howling winds with no complaints and opponents parents even sending e-mails saying what quality people they were with their sportsmanship and level of play.
Most Improved Player throughout the winter season
Our winter season most improved player is Reuben Rogers (11). Reuben loves his tennis and you will see him at the club all the time, practicing his serve which has been his main focus recently. Reuben is now entering tournaments and winning lots of U11 and U12 matches. He has really been putting the time in during sessions and in his own time! Great work Reuben.
