Holiday Coaching Camp Information

We run our Holiday Coaching Tennis Camps during all the school holidays and half terms. We have put all the information below in one place to make it as easy as possible for you.

Holiday Camp Timings:

  • Full day – 9am to 3.30pm
  • Short day (for U4s) – 9am to 2pm
  • Winter hours – 9am to 2pm

*Timings can vary for each different holiday period, mainly due to weather e.g darkness/icy courts.

What to Bring:

  • Packed lunch (even on shorter days)
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Layers / raincoat for weather changes – our camps go ahead whatever the weather
  • Sunny days – apply suncream ahead of attending
  • A tennis racket if you have one (we have rackets to borrow if you don’t have one)
  • Please LABEL everything! We have a lot of children at our Holiday Camps, so please label everything – rackets, bags, water bottles, clothing and any other equipment you bring to the courts. Policy for Personal Property.

*Please can we ask you to ensure that there are NO NUTS, or foods made from nuts, in any of the packed lunches at our Holiday Camps. We have several children who attend our camps with severe allergies, so this is incredibly important.

As you arrive:

  • On arrival, please check in with the coaches inside the clubhouse and confirm who is picking up your child, as we need to know this at check in.

Additional information:

  • Also a reminder, that if any older children want to walk home on their own we need to have written permission via e-mail to Elly BEFORE the day they are at camp.
  • There is a tuck shop in the clubhouse if you would like your children to have a treat.

Please keep scrolling as below there are a few formal bits which we need you to read. We are very lucky to have lots of children at our camps, and we have a few processes in place to ensure your children are safe and have the best time playing tennis with us.

Timetable for a full day

* Timetable does vary slightly for each camp

Mobile Phone Policy:

We do not want any children to use mobile phones at any point during sessions on court or in the clubhouse during Holiday Camps, Junior Squads or any other time. If children have mobile phones they need to stay in their bags at all times. Full Policy Here.

Behaviour:

Please reiterate the importance of good behaviour and respect for both peers and coaches to your children ahead of our camps.

Our coaches have a code of conduct, and in turn we expect all players involved in our tennis program to respect the player code of conduct.

  • Players will arrive on time with all the necessary kit ready to train
  • Players/parents will let the coaches know about any injuries/medical and additional needs
  • Players will ALWAYS try their best
  • Players will respect their peers and treat everyone equally
  • Players will encourage others in the group and not comment on other players
  • Players will accept winning and losing and show good sportsmanship at all times
  • Players will show respect and speak respectfully to ALL coaches and assistant coaches
  • Players will take full responsibility for their behaviour and recognise that if anyone is disrespected
in the group peer/coach/assistant coach that the coach will follow the disciplinary protocol
