Accessible activities and tennis sessions for SEND children.

Access Sport ran an Inclusive Multi Sport Festival on 13 April 2022

Tom joined ten other wonderful local clubs to deliver different sports through the day in 40 minute sessions. Each session was pan disability with all needs welcomed, and involved children ranging in ages between 5 and 18.

The children took part in some tennis coaching with Tom, along with other sports including yoga, fencing, cricket, multi-sports, football, powerchair football and wrestling.

Tom explains more about the day: “I was so pleased to be asked to coach tennis at such a brilliant event. I believe tennis, and all sport, can encourage and give children the opportunity to be their most positive selves and it was so wonderful to see everyone involved in the event having such a wonderful time.”

At Elly Shearman Tennis Coaching we believe that tennis is for EVERYONE and this is why we run a number of Accessible Tennis sessions, 6 week blocks and holiday camps to enable everyone to play. To find out more about our Accessible Tennis click here.
