All we really want is for as many people to play tennis as possible. We simply love the sport and we want everyone to join us and have a great time. Whether, you have never picked up a racket before or you haven’t played since you were younger or for a little while or you are still playing and just want to improve or have some fun, we have something for everyone.
For those new to us or who don’t know much about our Adult Tennis Coaching Programme these are some key things to know about our offering:
- You don’t need to be a member of Kings Lawn Tennis Club to be able to attend our sessions
- You don’t need to be able to play tennis, the appropriate session (Cardio Tennis & Tennis Xpress) can get you started
- Sessions are great fun
These exercise sessions are a HIIT style cardio sessions which are a great fun way to get fit whilst playing tennis. You don’t need to be able to play tennis. There is an element of hitting balls but no rallys are involved in the sessions.
The tempo is picked up with drills and hitting lots of balls, with fitness and footwork mixed in. Everything is done to music and it’s great fun. If you haven’t played much tennis or whether you are an experienced tennis player then this exercise class is for you – it is a great workout and a lot of fun!
François has been running Cardio Tennis sessions for nearly 20 years, each week the exercises are different with high energy music and François is on hand to provide constant tips and advice throughout. Sessions run on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9.30am – 10.30am.
