Emily Rowlands
We have created an award especially for Emily! Emily has been so outstanding we really felt we wanted to give her an award for shining! Emily (14) is one of our helpers at Elly Shearman Tennis Coaching. Emily is not yet old enough to gain her level 1 coaching award, as you need to be 16 year old to take the exam, but this hasn’t stopped her getting valuable experience on the courts with our coaches.
In the summer, Emily took part in a girls leadership day and completely shone, and since then she has just continued to shine! Her ability to build rapport with the children in the groups she works with, her peers, and the coaching staff is exceptional! We can’t wait for you to be old enough to gain your level 1 and 2 and continue to develop your coaching knowledge!
You will probably recognise Emily from helping in the ages 5/6 on a Saturday morning, in the Thursday Red Ball Group and you may have also seen her playing in team tennis matches at the weekends!
Emily, you are an inspiration to us and to other young girls starting out on their tennis journey. WELL DONE!
