Road to Wimbledon supported by Slazenger
Road to Wimbledon is the biggest junior tournament in British tennis and gives all U14 players the opportunity to progress through to compete on the world famous grass courts at Wimbledon.
Our Road to Wimbledon event is taking place on Saturday 29th May 2021 between 12.30pm and 5.30pm at King Tennis Club.
It is FREE to take part, you just need to register below.
It is a good chance for players to get some match practice as well as having the opportunity to potentially compete at the regional event, also held at Kings. As players progress through the competition there is the opportunity to compete at Wimbledon! An extremely exciting opportunity. If children were born between 2007 and 2010 they can enter!

May Monthly Awards
As you probably know by now, each month our coaches will be keeping an eye out for deserved winners for our awards. The awards maybe for most improved, best effort, most positive player – anything the coaches think stands out. This month we have a winner for Junior Standout and Saturday Superstar.
Junior Standout – Barney Askew
Barney has been working really hard in training as well as getting stuck in to team matches. He thinks about what has gone well and what hasn’t during his matches and feeds it back to his coaches, this helps him to continue to improve! Great work ethic and maturity!
Saturday Superstar – Freya Swainston-Gunn
Freya hasn’t been coming to our ages 5 – 6 sessions for very long but she has improved a lot already! What we really love is her positive energy rain or shine…her smiley face, her concentration, always picks up the balls….she gives us energy every Saturday morning!
Congratulations to both our worthy winners this month.
